Occupational allergy is defined as allergy caused by exposure to a product that is present in the workplace. Some of the common conditions caused by occupational allergies include occupational asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, latex rubber allergy, and allergic contact dermatitis. Enzyme proteins have potential to cause occupational allergy/asthma.
