Overview

This test detects and confirms the presence of drug Canabinoids/Marijuana in urine. Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, stems, flowers & seeds from the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. The components of this plant are classified as Cannabinoids which have psychological effects. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive chemical responsible for the intoxicating effect. Infrequent smokers may test positive for 2 to 5 days after last Marijuana /Hashish use; chronic smokers may test positive even 3 to 4 weeks after abstinence.
