STOOL ROUTINE EXAMINATION

Overview

In a routine stool examination, a stool sample is chemically examined to check its pH and the presence of blood, and microscopically, to check for pus cells, red blood cells, parasites,color, consistency, amount, shape, odor, and the presence of mucus.
