  Sample Required FLOURIDE PLASMA

• 

  Preperations Required Begin by drawing a baseline fasting specimen. Prepare a glucose solution by dissolving 100g of glucose monohydrate in 300 mL of water. Administer this solution orally over a 5-minute period. Collect additional blood specimens at 1, 2, and 3 hours after the intake of glucose. Overnight/8hr fasting is mandatory prior to the test.
