Overview

The HDL Cholesterol (High-Density Lipoprotein) test measures the level of HDL, known as good cholesterol,in the blood. Higher levels of HDL help remove excess cholesterol from the bloodstream, reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke. This test is used to evaluate cardiovascular health and overall cholesterol balance.
