Preparations Required

Please collect 24-hour urine in a mug and transfer it to the relevant urine container with 10 ml of 6 Molar HCL preservative. It is important to send 20 ml aliquot of the collected sample to the lab in refrigerated condition, along with the clinical history and mention the urine volume of the 24-hour collected sample for calculation purposes. Please note the start and end time of collection, exclude the first urine sample, and include the last voided urine sample. To ensure accurate results, avoid consuming bananas, pineapple, chocolates, tea, coffee, ice cream, high-cereal diet, vanilla, potatoes, and B complex 48 hours before the collection
