Preparations Required

Overnight fasting is preferred. Clinical history is mandatory . Provide relevant clinical history or clinician contact details, along with a completed Test Requisition Form (TRF). Include any history of stroke, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, major surgery, or cancer, as well as pregnancy status. Additionally, report drug history, including use of oral contraceptive pills, hormone replacement therapy, or any anticoagulant treatment, as these may affect test results.
