Preparations Required

Provide maternal date of birth (dd/mm/yy), last menstrual period (LMP) or ultrasound date, IVF status, number of fetuses (single or twins), diabetes status, body weight in kg, smoking history, and any previous history of a trisomy 21 pregnancy. A completed Maternal Serum Screen requisition form is required. Valid testing period is between 14-21.6 weeks of gestation (Ideal is 15-21.6 weeks).
