Preparations Required

Overnight fasting is mandatory. Collect a fasting baseline sample, then administer 250 ?g of synthetic ACTH (Synacthen) injection intravenously/Intramuscular . Draw additional samples at 30 and 60 minutes. Clearly label each tube with the time of collection.
