Description

This assay is useful in the diagnosis of Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma. It is also useful for screening children for Catecholamine secreting tumors & in supporting a diagnosis of Neuroblastoma.

Pre-Information

At least 72 hours before and during specimen collection, the patient must refrain from using drugs, engaging in strenuous activity, experiencing extreme stress, and smoking.
