Absolute Eosinophil count is increased in Allergic or Atopic disease, Infectious Disorders (including Parasites), medications, Immunologic reactions, Skin Disorders, Pulmonary Syndromes, Rheumatologic Diseases, Myeloproliferative Neoplasms and secondary to other malignancies.

What is the Cost of T.e.c.

  • Offers or discounts
  • Empanelment of the patient

What is the Purpose of the T.e.c. ?

The Total Eosinophil Count Test, or T.E.C. Test, counts the amount of White Blood Cells called Eosinophils in the blood. As they react to Autoimmune Disorders, Malignancies, Microbial Infections, and Allergy reactions, Eosinophils are vital components of the Immune system. They only proliferate when the body needs them to protect it, like during an Allergic reaction or an infection. Eosinophil counts usually drop back to minute levels after serving their protective purpose. The T.E.C. Test aids in the assessment of the severity and directs treatment decisions for a number of illnesses, including Eosinophilic Disorders, Allergies, Asthma, and Infections.

When is the T.e.c. Recommended ?

This Test of recommended if you have or suspected to have following conditions:
  • Acute hypereosinophilic syndrome, a rare condition that’s similar to leukemia and can be life-threatening
