HBV- DETECTION OF DNA (QUANTITATIVE-VIRAL LOAD)

Overview

This assay is a Real-Time Amplification test using specific primer probe for the quantitative detection of Hepatitis B Virus DNA in human serum samples, encompassing all the major HBV genotype. The target selected is based on highly conserved sequence in the HBV genome. The method includes extraction of DNA from clinical samples, amplification using Real-Time PCR and detection using fluorescent reporter dye probes specific for HBV genotypes
