HCV- DETECTION OF RNA (Quantitative-Viral load)

Overview

This assay is a Real-Time Amplification test using specific primer probe for the quantitative detection of Hepatitis C Virus RNA in human serum samples. The target selected is based on highly conserved sequence in the HCV genome. The method includes extraction of RNA from clinical samples, reverse-transcription and amplification using Real-Time PCR and detection using fluorescent reporter dye probes specific for HCV genotypes
